The billionaire took to his platform, X, to reveal the formation of the America Party, which he is promoting as a direct challenge to the existing two-party system dominated by Republicans and Democrats.

The idea of a new political party first emerged during Musk’s public spat with President Trump. Following this, Musk sought the opinion of his X followers on whether a new party should be established in the United States.
According to a BBC correspondent, nearly a million people responded to his poll, with approximately 60% expressing support for the formation of a new political entity.
